You’ve found the SOUNDSTREAMS site. SOUNDSTREAMS is the Scottish Flute Trio’s new project to inspire and enable young composers to write their own music. This site is also an online resource for anyone who is interested in composition.

Explore the site and you will find advice and information from leading composers, practical information on how to go about writing your own piece, as well as information about current workshops running in Scotland.

Watch out for the SOUNDSTREAMS tour in May/June 2010 when we will be touring with new commissions by the professional composers leading the workshops alongside the best of the student pieces produced during the project.
